The Urban Innovation Unit
is a research and development program, bringing together ideas, knowledge and resources from the civil society, the academic sector, the cultural sector, the business sector as well as the public administration, in order to propose alternative solutions to the strategic challenges of the city.
The Urban Innovation Unit (UIU) is being transferred to the Center for Innovation and Civic Imagination (CIIC) of Cluj-Napoca Municipality. Thus, CIIC is expanding its activity to integrate the processes and lessons learned together with UIU between 2017-2021.
