About
Culturepreneurs is an entrepreneurship education program dedicated to professionals in the cultural and creative sectors.
The Program is part of the component focusing on the work in the cultural and creative sectors within Cluj Future of Work, the first project in Eastern Europe funded by Urban Innovative Actions.
Following the organized public call, the selected 69 participants will have the opportunity to develop sustainable projects in which the creativity, entrepreneurship and technology come together. The participants will benefit free of charge from a series of training workshops and mentoring programs, but also from spaces, equipment and, finally, cash prizes that will help them later to put their ideas into practice.
Culturepreneurs 20/21 is implemented in partnership with the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, Transylvania Creative Industries Cluster, Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, Cluj IT Cluster, Transylvania IT Cluster, Transylvania International Film Festival, the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca and the ZAIN Transylvanian Creativity Festival. STAGE 1
The first six modules are mandatory and they will help participants turn their ideas in a concrete plan of actions, while enriching their knowledge on project development.

These models will have a practical side that will take place in the CREIC laboratories.

Learning
- Free access to an extensive training program consisting of nine specialized modules and a coaching program conducted by experts in start-ups and cultural and creative industries.
Infrastructure
- Free access to a co-working space and three laboratories complete with state-of-the-art equipment in the fields of CGI & VFX, Design and Automation & Machine Learning.
Support mechanisms
- Free access to complementary learning and networking activities. Individual prizes of €1,200 for excelling in the Program. Counselling services in international promotion for five projects.
Timeline
- * Pitch Sessions #1&2: Participants will present the project they developed in the Program before a jury made up of specialists in order to obtain relevant feedback, to practice project promotion and to compete for a prize of €1,200 (gross amount).
