Meet the trainers of Culturepreneurs 20/21 – Part I

Combining technology, strategy and creativity, Culturepreneurs 20/21 aims to offer new learning opportunities to people working in the cultural and creative industries. Between September 21 and December 14, 2020, participants have free access to six learning modules in which they will acquire basic knowledge for the implementation of their project. The learning process will be guided by experienced trainers in areas which are important for the development of an entrepreneur, such as management, marketing and communication, financial and legal fields, Systems Thinking and Open Innovation, digitalization and artistic thinking.
Systems Thinking and Open Innovation

Daniel Tuitt – Innovator, Service and Business Designer
Daniel has over eight years of innovation experience focusing on technology, strategy, qualitative and quantitative research and customer-led propositions. Throughout his career, he has collaborated as a consultant with brands such as Landsec, BSI and Digital Catapult.

Călin Șipoș – IT Consultant, Mentor
Călin Șipoș has over ten years of experience as a project manager and developer. Since 2019, he is a member of the Cluj Startups team and contributes to the development of this ecosystem through various events, programs, workshops and other similar actions.

Ioana Sfârlea – Business Developer, Consultant
The 22 years of experience in entrepreneurship, investment, management and marketing, have brought Ioana Sfârlea a vast baggage of knowledge and a solid foundation in fields and industries such as: IT, non-profit, education, culture, retail, production, digitalization, industrial robots, tourism and HORECA.

Vlad Icleanu – Project Manager, Mentor and Coordinator
Vlad Icleanu has been working in the NGO environment for more than seven years. He coordinates the activities of Cluj Startups, manages projects and, when given the opportunity, he designs and delivers workshops and conducts mentoring sessions with startups.

Alexandra Cantor – Program Coordinator, Director of Communications, Trainer
Alexandra Cantor has 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising and 10 years of experience as a trainer in the area of communication and creativity. She has worked for brands such as P&G, Nestle, Unilever, Groupama, UniCredit Bank, Bergenbier, Vodafone and more.

Tudor Mihai – Innovator, Trainer, Business Consultant
Tudor Mihai is the CEO of Innovating Society, an agency that combines creative thinking and business knowledge in the process of development, adaptation to the current context and business efficiency. Together with his team, Tudor actively contributes to educating the market in this field and to building a community of innovators and entrepreneurs.

Eusebiu Burcas – Entrepreneur, Trainer, Investor and Business Angel
Eusebiu Burcas has over 25 years of experience in management and sales. He is the founder and president of the Burcash Association – Money Management, as well as the founder of financial education in Romania, due to the independent financial education program: BurcashTM – Money Management.

Andrada Persu – Lawyer and Co-founder of Alt+Law
Andrada Persu has been working in the legal field for over eight years. Lawyer and co-founder of Alt+Law, Andrada has gained experience that qualifies her as a trustworthy consultant in this sector, with an emphasis on technology law.

Mădălina Sumedrea – Entrepreneur, Trainer
Mădălina Sumedrea is the CEO of SUPP OFFICE – a startup that aims to support and encourage small companies to adopt a healthy financial and operational management, and to develop their internal and legal processes so as to increase their efficiency and profitability. Her main interests are entrepreneurship, education and non-profit organizations.

Tudor Stanciu – Lawyer, Actively involved in financial and legal technology
Tudor Stanciu is a lawyer and the co-founder of Digital2Law, an organization that offers services related to legal and fiscal policies, and technological tools dedicated to SMEs and startups. He is involved in the development of fintech and legaltech communities, through initiatives such as Fintech Camp and Bucharest Legal Hackers, and wants to be as active as possible in this direction.

Alexandru Roja – Manager of Innovating Strategies and Digital Transformation
Alexandru Roja has 20 years of experience in academia and research, with expertise in topics such as innovation management, entrepreneurship, strategic management, strategic intelligence and digital transformation. Within Transylvania Digital Innovation Hub, he is an expert in orchestrating digital innovation at institutional levels and beyond.

Fulvia Iancu – Lawyer
Fulvia Iancu is a member of the Cluj Bar and has been a lawyer for the Transylvania IT Cluster for about a year now, during which time she closely supervised all the activity of the cluster from a legal point of view. With more than five years of experience in the legal sector, Fulvia specializes in the field of GDPR and in the legal aspects specific to digital transformation.

Liviu Pop – Scientific Researcher
Liviu Pop is a scientific researcher at the Romanian Academy, where he maintains the analog and digital archive. He has a PhD in Digital Archives and their long-term preservation and has participated in over 20 international conferences on topics related to digitization, cultural heritage, artificial intelligence from a cultural perspective and the evolution of media technologies.

Mihai Pop – Project Manager, Coordinator
Mihai Pop has over 10 years of experience in organizational development and project management, working both nationally and in Europe. He coordinated teams and implemented various funding projects, such as: Youth in Action, Erasmus +, EEA Grants.
Artistic Thinking

Georg Russegger – Manager of Centre for Knowledge Transfer, Program Coordinator
Georg Russegger runs the Centre for Knowledge Transfer at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2014, he has also been the coordinator of an inter-university and inter-disciplinary network in Austria, which aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge / expertise between universities, society and the economy.

Laszlo Bencze – Vice-Rector for Artistic and Scientific Research, UAD
Currently vice-rector and doctoral professor at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Laszlo Bencze has extensive experience in the field of visual arts and new media. He works in areas such as animation, games, advertising, UI / UX design, mixed media, comics, graphic design and DTP.

Mara Rațiu – Vice-Rector for Institutional Partnerships and Image Promotion, UAD
Mara Rațiu is vice-rector and doctoral lecturer at the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca. With almost 20 years of experience in the arts, Mara continues to be actively involved in promoting art and creating encounters between visual art and the community.
Culturepreneurs is our entrepreneurial education program dedicated to professionals in the cultural and creative sectors, supported since the very beginning by Banca Transilvania. In its third edition, the Culturepreneurs program is developed under the component dedicated to work in the cultural and creative sectors, within Cluj Future of Work, project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Urban Innovative Actions Initiative and the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca.
Cluj Future of Work is a project initiated by the Urban Innovation Unit from Cluj-Napoca, created by the Cluj Cultural Center in partnership with the Center for Innovation and Civic Imagination from Cluj-Napoca City Hall.
Cluj Future of Work is realized in co-management by Cluj-Napoca Municipality and Cluj Cultural Center, in a consortium with eight other local organizations: Cluj Metropolitan Area, Transylvania Creative Industries Cluster, Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, Cluj IT Cluster, Transylvania IT Cluster, TIFF, University of Art and Design from Cluj-Napoca / UAD and ZAIN – Design Expressions.
