Want to learn more about what urban innovation departments are and what they do?

On the 4th of December 2020, between 16:00 and 18:00 EET (Bucharest time), the Cluj-Napoca Urban Innovation Unit (UIU) invites you to meet and discuss with urban innovation departments from different cities around the world how their work is organized. During this year’s e-Urban Dialogues, we will also analyze together the benefits of these departments operating inside or outside local governments, as well as the recent changes generated by the COVID-19 pandemic in the innovation ecosystem.

We will learn more about these topics from our colleagues from Boston’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, 27eRegion in Paris, as well as our UIU team from CCC and CIIC within Cluj-Napoca Municipality.

Participation is free. We will send you a link on December 3 with the link to the online live streaming session and details on how you can interact with other guests during the event.

The entire session will be in English.

The e-Urban Dialogues Conference is organized by the Urban Innovation Unit (UIU) within the Cluj Cultural Center, with the support of the Cluj-Napoca Municipality.

UIU  is a research and development program that compiles ideas, knowledge and resources coming from the civil society, the academic sector, the cultural sector, the business and public administration sector, to propose alternative solutions to the strategic challenges of the City. UIU is an initiative of the Cluj Cultural Center, launched in 2017, in partnership with the Municipality’s Innovation and Civic Imagination Centre.
